Quartermaster

The main duties of this role are:

• Sourcing and ordering all parts and other third-party supplied items (software, services) for both customers and internal teams
• Managing all physical deliveries both in and out of the Cambridge site
• Managing all physical stock being held at the Cambridge site
• Liaising and building relationships with our many suppliers
• Assisting technical teams with parts selection
• Issuing and maintaining records of all physical equipment on loan to employees, both onsite and at home
• Processing accounts payable, entering supplier invoices on our accounts system, reconciling to authorised purchase orders
• Maintaining supplies of consumables for the Cambridge office, reordering when necessary
• Delivering equipment to local customer sites when needed using company vehicles
• Handling customer queries regarding deliveries and status of physical orders

We will provide all necessary training for the above responsibilities on top of our standard 18 paid training days per year on a Microsoft or suitable alternative syllabus.

Note: other than for training days which can be worked from home, this role will be full-time onsite at our office in Cambridge due to the physical nature of the role.

Experience required

Some previous experience of a warehouse or stock controlled environment would be beneficial, as would experience with modern accounts software.
