Execution of Disaster Recovery Plan following office fire.
Founded in 1898, by HG Jefferies and becoming a Limited Liability Partnership in 2006, Jefferies Essex LLP provide a wide range of legal services from their office in Southend, Essex. They employ around 50 people and was a client since February 2009.
Late on the evening of Sunday 8 May 2011, Jefferies Essex LLP suffered a catastrophic fire at their Essex premises which started in a neighbouring property.
This was a total site loss, however a full suite of backup tapes were available offsite and ctm IT Support were called in to assist the Jefferies management team implement their Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plan.

In a fully coordinated effort with the Jefferies management team, we worked with a with a range of supplier to provide support and manage the impact to the business.
Inline with the company DR policy, we procured, deployed and configured 50 Microsoft Windows client machines, two Dell PowerEdge servers plus all associated peripherals and networking infrastructure.
By 8am Tuesday 10 May, primary systems were online. By 8am Wednesday 11 May secondary systems were online.
Full bare metal restores of all company data were performed without issue by our engineering teams. By Wednesday 11 May all data was restored and available. On-going onsite support was provided for the duration of the recovery.
Since before the fire, ctm IT Support was working with Jefferies Essex LLP to provide a full suite of outsourced IT support services.
